Revival Starts with One Yes

“If My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”
– 2 Chronicles 7:14 AMP

Revival Starts With One Yes

Throughout history, every great move of God has started the same way—with ordinary people who dared to believe that He would do the impossible.

Elijah knew this well. The nation of Israel had turned away from God, following after false idols. The land was dry, both physically and spiritually, but Elijah didn’t see the drought as the end. He saw an opportunity for God to reveal His power.

On Mount Carmel, he rebuilt the altar that had been torn down, poured water over the sacrifice, and prayed with bold faith. And then? Fire fell from heaven. It was undeniable. God’s presence, His power, His revival had come. This significant event led to the Israelites acknowledging the Lord as God and a subsequent revival, with rain ending the drought.

But what if Elijah had waited for someone else to act? What if he had decided the nation was too far gone?

The Fire Falls on the Prepared

Revival isn’t something we wait for—it is something we prepare for out of expectation. Like Elijah, we must rebuild the altar in our own hearts, surrender what we have been holding onto, and pray with expectancy.

God is stirring something in this generation.
People are hungry for truth.
Hearts are awakening.
The Church is rising.

And just like in Elijah’s time, all it takes is one act of faith, one surrendered heart, and one bold prayer for the fire to fall again.
