Today as we thank those who serve and have served to protect our nation from without and within, may we be reminded of the faithfulness required to be a good soldier, one committed to faithfully serve their commanding officer even to the point of laying down their life.
5 Years of Impact
In October of 2020 — 5 years ago this month — The Great Awakening Project was founded to AWAKEN the followers of Christ to restore intimacy with God, establish critical cultural transformation, and create increasing Kingdom expansion, for generations.
Awakening America: When Darkness Tries to Silence the Truth
Our nation has faced sorrow, confusion, and anger in the last weeks. Many are asking why darkness seems to be rising and why truth comes under such heavy attack. As believers, we understand that no power of darkness can overcome the light of Christ. The enemy may try to silence voices of truth, but the Word declares, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). The Church carries that light, and now is the time to let it shine with greater clarity and courage.

Father, Thank you for the life and ministry of Charlie Kirk, who has impacted a nation for your Kingdom in such a short lifetime. Thank you for his leadership in standing for righteousness and truth, encouraging free and peaceful discourse as a means to resolving differences. Thank you for the example he set for our youth, showing how to love and serve God, family, and nation. Thank you for the seeds sown that they will bear fruit in due season.

Your Part of Growing Awakening

Pastors & Pulpits: A Win for the Church
For 70 years, the Johnson Amendment restricted churches from speaking freely on civil politics. Introduced by Senator Lyndon Johnson in 1954, it warned pastors to stay silent on candidates or risk losing their tax benefits. Though rarely enforced, it cast a long shadow. Pulpits grew cautious. Congregations disengaged. Bible-believing churches stepped back, while progressive pulpits spoke freely—applauded and untouched.
But that changed this week.

President Trump has signed six education-related executive orders aimed at restoring excellence, innovation, and common sense to our Education system. These orders represent a powerful shift away from ideological indoctrination and global influence, towards practical outcomes, personal responsibility, and national strength. As Secretary of Education Linda McMahon stated, “These actions put American students and families first again.”

As we walk through the most sacred week of history, we are reminded that death does not get the final word. Jesus does. When He walked out of the grave, Jesus took every chain with Him.

A sound rises in the distance—not loud, not polished, not even certain. But it is real. It is the sound of dry bones rattling back to life. A holy disturbance. A spiritual stirring. The kind that whispers to sleeping hearts, “Wake up.”

CRT Rebranded? What You Need to Know
Critical Race Theory (CRT) became evident in educational settings in the 1980s, but its mainstream acceptance as truth is a recent development. CRT, also known as anti-racism, applies Marxist ideology to race, dividing individuals by skin color. It labels white individuals as oppressors and people of color as oppressed, fueling racial conflict. This Marxist theory claims that the oppressed must rise up and overthrow their oppressors, creating division instead of unity.

School Board Initiative
Christians have the opportunity to choose godly men and women to govern the education of children in the school districts they live in, plus they can attend and speak at local school board meetings. Parents and concerned citizens are pushing back to reclaim their voice in the educational system!
